Like the Charge 4, the Inspire 2 has no mechanical button—squeezing the perimeters of the display screen will wake it up or return it to the house display screen. The Inspire 2 doesn’t have built-in GPS ; it measures tempo and distance on a stroll or a run when connected to your phone’s GPS (meaning you’ll want your phone with you). On a 1.4-mile stroll along a measured loop, the Inspire 2 fell behind the Charge four on each distance and step-count accuracy, and it was much less exact when recording all-day step depend. Unlike the Charge four, the Inspire 2 doesn’t have an altimeter, so it can’t monitor floors climbed. But just like the Charge 4, this model offers more than 20 goal-based exercise modes, and it tracks sleep phases (though alarms are programmable solely within the app; with the Charge 4, they’re programmable on the device).
